By parents, for parents
We are owned and operated by a group of parents from all over the world. We were set up in response to our founders’ struggles as young parents in different cities around the world. So, since our first school in Hong Kong in 2014, we’ve been obsessed with two things: improving learning outcomes for children, and our service to parents.
Our daughter has settled in at the nursery very well and enjoys the nursery. The nursery is the perfect setting for our daughter and would highly recommend sending your son/daughter there if you are unsure where to go as the parent and the manager made the whole process as smooth and as reassuring as possible! Our daughter only being 17 months old has shown great development in herself with the help of Kido. Thank you, guys.

My daughter started at the nursery at 14 months old, we have noticed how well she has been progressing and developing in herself with the help from all the wonderful and caring, professional staff at Kido. The staff member at the nursery who is the parent relationship manager made the whole settling in process as smooth as possible with our daughter and reassured us at each settle-in session. We would recommend this nursery to anyone.

When you’re leaving your baby for the first time, you want to feel reassured you’re leaving them in amazing hands, and that’s how I feel with Kïdo. The team are brilliant, not only at looking after and nurturing little ones but the parents too. Great communication, healthy food and brilliant resources to help stimulate and grow your little one’s mind. Would highly recommend it.

FAQs
Some of the things you might want to know. For anything else, just give us a call or enquire, and our parent relationship manager will be on hand to answer any questions you might have!
Kido's COVID Response
In line with the current government guidance, Kido nurseries remain open. We continually adhere to best practices around enhanced cleaning, social distancing, the regular taking of temperatures and maintenance of strict bubbles to limit disruptions in the event of a COVID-19 case. Out of hours tours remain available throughout the week.
Our philosophy
The nursery is inspired by Reggio Emilia’s philosophy. Children have the space to find something that encourages them to discover, play and learn in every corner.
We believe that a combination of free and structured play, an engaging and interactive learning environment, and an abundance of love, care and attention provide the most solid foundation for children in the early years.
Food & Nutrition
Your little one needs lots of energy to learn and play. Our healthy, nutritious meals will make sure they've got plenty. We serve breakfast, lunch and a healthy snack too. We also have vegetarian options and are happy to chat about any specific dietary requirements your child might have.
Our People
All of our teachers are formally educated and have a wealth of experience in the childcare industry and a genuine passion for teaching children. We put our heart into it and welcome teachers from different nationalities and cultures.
This along with the 100 hours' internal training is all to ensure we give your child the very best learning and development experience while they're in our care.
Parent Communication
You won't miss a moment of their development. Through our app for parents, you'll get regular updates, pictures and communication from your child's teacher throughout the day. Also during pick-up and drop-off we'll be sure to talk through anything you need to know and answer any of your questions.
